Mountaintop Elopement

Our sweet couple, Erin and Chad, eloped in the magnificent mountains of Malibu overlooking the ocean on a sunny fall afternoon. We wanted to play into the stunning natural colors of the mountains with a warm color scheme that found its way into every detail of the day. From the groom’s caramel colored suit from Friar Tux to the bride’s bouquet filled with hues of red, orange, yellow and maroon that was beautifully created by Fleur de Rye, every element played into the season of celebration.

This charming day began with hair and makeup with Makeup by Natalya at the couple’s home. This was followed by a short hike to the mountain top where our couple said “I do” at sunset. Erin’s elegant Pronovias Williams gown from NWLA stood out against the rugged backdrop with a show stopping cape. After their sweet nuptials Erin and Chad took in the view and then made their way to take bridal portraits with photographer Katie B Creative.

Erin even briefly switched up her cape for a lace veil to bring some added texture and bridal elements to their photos. She changed back into her cape as the day was coming to an end to stay warm while these two snuggled up for the last of their photos. They then topped off their evening with a champagne toast to celebrate their love.

These two met in Utah and are living in Los Angeles now, so this Malibu elopement was the perfect setting for them with the blend of mountains and beach. Each moment of this fall day truly encapsulated their love for each other as they were surrounded by the nature of their new home together.
