Valentine’s Wedding

This shoot was inspired by the love, affection and traditions that Valentine’s Day holds in our hearts. Rob and Abrianna, our real-life couple, got engaged last February 14^th making them the perfect fit for our Forever Valentine’s themed wedding inspiration. From the colors to the flowers and food – every detail paid homage to this day for lovers. Focused on a light and airy color palette, the stunning blush pink dress from Dawson & Deveraux set the tone for the day. Detailed with hand beaded delicate florals and a dreamy tulle neckline, the wedding gown was a stunning sight to be seen.

As flowers are a true staple of Valentine’s Day, each floral element was composed without greenery allowing all the focus to fall on the beauty and movement of the flowers. The shades of pale pink in the bride’s bouquet paired with bolder pops of bright pink and purple were selected to symbolize the joy, happiness and romance felt between the bride and groom. Large floral installations added charm to each detail of the day. The cake was lined with ruffles to match the bride’s gown and sat in a bed of florals growing around it representing the continued growth that love brings into our lives.

The florals paired with clean and modern design elements created a fresh new take on the standard pink and white Valentine’s Day theme. Acrylic menus and pink velvet chairs brought a fun touch to the sweetheart table while maintaining the elegance and romance found throughout the rest of the details. The blush acrylic bride and groom name cards were two halves of a heart brought together, adding an extra special touch to the couple’s dinner experience. Each detail was filled with love just like the day that inspired it all.
